My Aim in Life/ My Ambition in Life
The Essence of life is to have some aim or ambition in life. Without it, life is meaningless. Eat drink and be merry is not life. We are not independent in our life but depend upon one another. Therefore, everyone should have a beautiful and serious aim in life. A person must be very careful while choosing his career. A person can be a doctor, engineer, teacher, lawyer, reformer etc. They all serve their nation and country in their own fields.
But I like to become a doctor as I like this profession very much for certain reasons.
This profession will enable me to serve the suffering humanity. I know that a large number of people are suffering from various diseases such as typhoid, cholera, T.B, cancer and numerous other and they live a very miserable life. The disease persons lose their charm in life and this world becomes a prison house for them. Their life becomes a burden for them in return they become a burden in their relatives. If they had been healthy, they would have served their nation and country in a befitting manner.
Therefore, I shall become a doctor and will leave no stone unturned in reliving the suffering humanity from the disease. I shall provide them proper treatment. I shall not disappoint them. I shall visit my patients at their home to cure them. I shall give free treatment to deserving patients. Money matters will be given secondary consideration. It will be a matter of great pleasure for me to see my patients recovering from their diseases. I shall try my best to rehabilitate them into life.
I strongly believe that service to humanity is a great virtue. Therefore, I shall be able to serve human beings in a proper way. Therefore, I have decided to become a doctor.
