My Neighbor

My Neighbor
Free sample essay on My Neighbor for kids. Blessed are those who have good neighbors. I am lucky to have Mr. Sharma as my next door neighbour. He is every inch a gentleman. He is very helpful to everyone.
Mr. Sharma is a wealthy businessman. He is very intelligent. He has two pet dogs. In spite of being rich he is not arrogant. He speaks to everyone and is generous and kind.
Mr. Sharma has four children—two sons and two daughters. The eldest son helps him with the family business. The second son is of my age and studies in a public school. His daughters are students of class nine and seven. His father also lives with him.
All the members of his family are good. His father is very kind and religious. His children are good-natured and well-mannered. They are good at studies too. Whenever I have any problem, I go to Chander, the second son and he always helps me solve it.
On festivals like Holi, Mr. Sharma arranges for a get-together for all the neighbors in the common park. At times it is contributory and at times the entire expenditure is borne by him. It is great fun.
Mr. Sharma and the members of his family are very co-operative and nice. They have forged a kind of close family feeling among the neighbors.

Health Essay

Health

An analysis of the validity of the Health Belief and Health Action Process Approach theoretical models of health related behaviour in relation to research evidence of the actual behaviour of individuals who engage in excessive alcohol consumption.
Theoretical models of health related behaviour are attempts to provide a frame work through which the cognitive processes gone through by individuals when deciding on health behaviours can be broken down and examined. Models are commonly used as they highlight which variables ought to be measured for research and how the variables combine and interact with each other to predict health behaviours (Conner & Norman 1993). There are numerous models available so it is common for them to be grouped by similarity. Ogden (1998) defines the groups by the presence of absence of consideration of certain factors. The ‘Cognition Models’ group comprises the Health Belief model (HBM) and Protection Motivation theory. The ‘Social Cognition Models’ group is comprised of the Theory of Planned Behaviour and the Health Action Process Approach. The cognition models are grouped together as they make the assumption that health behaviours are decided upon through individuals weighin

Quid e Azam (Muhammad Ali Jinnah)

Quid e Azam
Quaid-e-Azam, Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born on 25th December 1876 at Vazeer Mansion Karachi, was the first of seven children of Jinnahbhai, a prosperous merchant. After being taught at home, Jinnah was sent to the Sindh Madrasasah High School in 1887. Later he attended the Mission High School, where, at the age of 16, he passed the matriculation examination of the University of Bombay. On the advice of an English friend, his father decided to send him to England to acquire business experience. Jinnah, however, had made up his mind to become a barrister. In keeping with the custom of the time, his parents arranged for an early marriage for him before he left for England.
In London he joined Lincoln's Inn, one of the legal societies that prepared students for the bar. In 1895, at the age of 19, he was called to the bar. While in London Jinnah suffered two severe bereavements--the deaths of his wife and his mother. Nevertheless, he completed his formal studies and also made a study of the British political system, frequently visiting the House of Commons. He was greatly influenced by the liberalism of William E. Gladstone, who had become prime minister for the fourth time in 1892, the year of Jinnah's arrival in London. Jinnah also took a keen interest in the affairs of India and in Indian students. When the Parsi leader Dadabhai Naoroji, a leading Indian nationalist, ran for the English Parliament, Jinnah and other Indian students worked day and night for him. Their efforts were crowned with success, and Naoroji became the first Indian to sit in the House of Commons.
When Jinnah returned to Karachi in 1896, he found that his father's business had suffered losses and that he now had to depend on himself. He decided to start his legal practice in Bombay, but it took him years of work to establish himself as a lawyer.
It was nearly 10 years later that he turned toward active politics. A man without hobbies, his interest became divided between law and politics. Nor was...

A rainy Day

There are total four seasons in a year. They are summer winter, spring and autumn. Rainy season is a short period of the year that comes in July and August at the end of the summer. It is a time of the year when heat of the summer almost reaches its culmination a great need of some cool relief is felt. The scorching heat of tile sun becomes unbearable. Human beings and animals look towards the sky as if to asking God for rain. Then suddenly one day it happens that dark clouds appear from the west and prevail over the sky. They envelop the sun and put everything Under the dark shade. Then it begins to dribble that Changes into raining cats and dogs. The fields become -a river of water after two or three hours. Then trees are washed and look fresh. Village streets are changed into canals where children and animals joyfully p lay. Women make sweet and spicy dishes to celebrate the rain. People come out of their houses and eat mangoes. Children float paper boats on the water and splash water over one another. In summer when the heat is intense and hot winds blow, a dark cloud or a shower of rain is always welcome. If the rain fails people pray for it. They do yagas. In summer a rainy day is a day of enjoyment. When dark clouds cover the sky, people begin to dance with joy. When cool breeze blows and a refreshing rain falls, every heart is filled with joy. People go out to the canal of the rivers to hold picnics. Some people go for walk. Young girls gather under some big trees to arrange swing. They enjoy going up and down on the swings. They sing sweet songs that send thrills of joy in the hearts of the young. Thus they make merry to their heart’s content. Little children come out just with loin clothes. They dance out of joy while bathing in the rain. Sometimes they roll in the rain water. They float paper boats in the drains or in ponds. How they shout when their boats sink or are carried away by the current of water!Everything in nature...

Dr. Muhmmad Iqbal

Sir Muhammad Iqbal (Urdu: محمد اقبال/ Muḥammad Iqbāl; November 9, 1877 - April 21, 1938), commonly referred to as ʿAlāma Iqbāl (Urdu: علامہ اقبال), was a poet, philosopher and politician in British India.[1] He wrote his works in Persian and Urdu. Being a close associate of Muhammad Ali Jinnah and an active member of the All India Muslim League that later spearheaded the Pakistan Movement, Iqbal is widely regarded as a national hero in Pakistan.

A Morning Walk Essay For Metric+F.A Students

A Morning Walk
An early riser as I am, I go out for a walk everyday. I do not like to be bothered by anyone else company. Going with some companion means breaking into frequent conversation on the way. I, therefore, cannot concentrate on the beauty of nature around me. This is why I prefer going all alone.
I love the most the chirping of birds in the morning. The melodious chirping is enchanting. They seem to welcome the sun with their sweet notes. After walking half a mile I sit in a pretty rose garden. The every sight and smell of those beautiful flowers cheers me up. Small dew drops on petals and leaves look like precious pearls. The sight pleases the eyes. I meditate there for a while. I forget the hustle and bustle of my daily life and escape from worries temporarily I feel a new strength is being injected into my otherwise tired body. I feel some new sense of joy as I relax while sitting in the silence around me
As I often go to a garden for a walk I meet other morning walkers who are as regular as me. They bring their dogs for a walk too. Young and old people come to the gardens, some do exercises throughout, some sit quietly under a tree, some jog and run-in short each person does what pleases him the most and whatever keeps his body in good shape.
Walking in the morning is a very good habit and even when I feel lazy in the morning get out of bed, I force myself to leave the house because I know that once I am on my way I will every minute of my morning walk.

My Best Friend Essay For F.A+Fsc+Metric Students

My Best Friend

At the age of seven years old, I met my first best friend. This was before I even knew the meaning of the word racism. He was about the same age as me, and he lived next door to my house. My mother was the first person to tell me about him. She told me that the people moving into the house next to ours had a child around my age. I couldn’t wait to meet him. At that age, I never anticipated how this new friend would change my life. Growing up outside a large city was great. My family lived in a three story Victorian-style home over looking the city in the distance. My next door neighbor was an elderly woman around the age of eighty. After the death of her husband, the elderly woman decided to sell her eight-bedroom home, and move to Florida to live out the rest of her limited life. A young couple moved in to the newly vacant home within a week. The couple had four children, one of which was my age. My mother encouraged me to introduce the boy my age to the other children in the neighborhood. I accepted her encouragement, and promptly walked to my new neighbor’s large front door. After knocking on the door, I was greeted by a young black boy. He we told each other our names, and then agreed to play two-hand touc .

How to Dry Mobile Phone if Droped in Water

Oh! Shit My Cell Phone Dropped in Water. What can I Do?
Many of you get your mobile phone wet by one way or another. You worry as you mistakenly drop your mobile phone in water. It can also get wet if you are out in a heavy rain.  However, there is no need to panic. It is possible to save your wet mobile phone by quickly repairing it. In order to save your mobile phone from water damage, you can consider these easy and simple solutions:
Act rapidly :
The first thing you have to do in order to save your wet mobile phone is to act rapidly. Quickly remove all the detachable parts as well as covers possible such as the back cover, battery, the SIM card, memory card etc. Next, take a piece of cloth or a tissue paper to wipe the excess water you are able to notice within the mobile phone. Make sure that you dry it completely. If you don' t do this, the water inside the mobile phone will begin to evaporate and gather in places which will be difficult to reach.
his will save your wet mobile phone and it will start working if it was under water for just a little while.
Using a hairdryer :
Take a hairdryer and begin drying the mobile phone while giving more consideration to the place where the battery is located. The battery housing usually consists of tiny holes to let in air (so giving more space for water) inside the mobile phone.
Make sure that you are not holding the hairdryer very near to the mobile phone. Keeping it too close to the mobile phone may harm the electrical mechanism of the mobile phone. Keep on drying the mobile phone from a safe distance for about twenty to thirty minutes.
If solution number 1 and solution number 2 don't work, try solution number 3.
Drying for a long time:
Take off the covers as well as battery from the mobile phone. Put the phone in a dry as well as warm place to let the water inside the phone evaporate gradually from the little holes in the mobile phone.

A Road Accident essay for F.A+Fsc+Metric Students

A Road Accident
Mostly accidents occur due to negligence or unawareness of traffic rules and signs on the roads. The drivers especially in our country don’t have typical special training mostly they are illiterate and cant understand and follow the signs of the road. The other thing is that most of the driver are addicts of drugs and they use it during there drive and causes serious kind of accidents on roads.
The road in front of my school is a narrow one. It is also very busy. Every afternoon when school is dismissed the road becomes almost impassable due to children, bicycles, cars and buses. Sometimes a policeman is there to help things out, but generally we have to depend on ourselves to avoid accidents. A few accidents had already occurred. I was a witness to one. If happened just after school. As usual the road was over crowded. Children were running across the road to get to their cars and buses. Just then I saw a young boy make a dash across the road. There was a loud sound of horn, a sound of brakes and I saw a car knock into the boy. He fell as though his feet were swept from under him. Fortunately the car was not moving very fast and the driver managed to stop the car before a wheel could run over the fallen boy. All traffic stopped. I ran over to the boy and saw blood on the road. He was bleeding from a cut on his head. A man came and examined the boy. Then he lifted the boy and carried him to a car. They took him to hospital. Many people surrounded the driver who looked worried. A policeman came to calm things down. As there was nothing I could do, I turned and walked down the road carefully. It was terrible to witness an accident. I certainly would not like to be involved in one.

Major Causes Of Fatal Road Accidents

Major Causes of Fatal Road Accidents.
Road accidents have become a natural occurrence on the streets, byways and highways not only in Lagos but in various parts of the country. Just yesterday, as I was coming back from a stroll, a Van recklessly sped past without concern for other road users thereby causing a collision between two commercial motor – cyclists.
There are various causes of these accidents, some of which include carelessness, drunkenness, untrained drivers (i.e. those without knowledge of road signs), mal -functioning traffic lights and impatient drivers. We also have bad roads, spoilt street lights and vehicles that are not road – worthy.
Another factor is the remarkable absence of road signage on most of Nigeria's Highways. These make it difficult for non-locals to use any stretch of roads without prior tutoring regarding the 'dos' and 'don’ts' of each stretch.

Economic Health Free Essay

Economic Health Free Essay

The health of the economy affects every consumer in different ways. If the economy is doing badly, people across the nation can feel it in ways of losing their jobs, cutting back on budgets, or being denied for loans. Many reasons exist why the ways and managing systems of the United States economy should be better understood by citizens. Understanding the economy will give insight to what is going on around every person, in every market, and why. The most common measurement of economic health is the Gross Domestic Product. The Gross Domestic Product, or GDP, is given as a percentage of growth from the prior period measured. This is generally done annually. The GDP is used to measure the health of the economy as well as the standard of living. The GDP is like a roller coaster with four phases; expansion, peak, contraction, and trough. The natural rhythm of the growth and contraction of the GDP is known as the business cycle. Factors that influence the business cycle would be things such as business investments, available money and credit, expectations for what is to come, and chan......

My Hobby

My Hobby

MY SPECIAL HOBBYPractically every person has his or her own hobby; whether it‘s a sport, collecting certain items, or something one takes their time practicing.   Personally, I never thought I ever had a hobby.   As a matter of fact I wasn't even sure what a hobby actually was.   Then I got to thinking and I finally realized that my hobby was dancing. Yes, I know that to some people dancing is not considered a true hobby; but the way I see it, if I enjoy dancing and spend my precious time doing it, then I have every right to consider it as my special hobby. As far as I can remember about my childhood, I have always loved to dance.   Dancing was just my thing.   I remember attending ballet classes when I was five years old.   I would learn the routines so quickly that the instructor would sometimes ask me to help her teach the other students.   The greatest part of being in ballet was attending the ballet recitals.   That was when each of us let ourselves shine in front of our family and friends.   I always thought that the crowd was watching my every move and thinking, "Wow, that girl dances so gracefully."   Just thinking that made me try even harder to be the best I could.   I would practice every day after school and right before bedtime, too.   It didn't even matter to me if there was no music playing, I just kept on dancing.Becoming   a famous dancer was one of my greatest childhood dreams.   I believed that one-day I would get the chance to be a dancer like those in the Music Television Videos (MTV).   I especially   looked up to the girls who danced in the Madonna and Janet Jackson videos. I would watch those videos time and time again just to get their dance steps down.   Once I got their "latest moves" down cold I would practice them in front of my full-length mirror.   My friends and I would then attempt to dance like them at our little Junior High dances.   The funny part was we even had dance competitions to see which one of us was a better dancer.   Of course the...
